A number of Island roads are currently blocked as a result of fallen trees because of the strong winds.
The constabulary says a tree has brought down power lines at Lower Foxdale by Hamilton Terrace and as a result the route is impassable.
Meanwhile, a tree is also blocking the Shoulder Road.
Officers say agencies are on route but are advising motorists to take alternative routes until the affected highways are cleared.
