Organisers say more updates on what happened will follow, but there won't be any more practice tonight.
It happened while the sidecars were out on the course.
All roads around the course remain closed at this time, 8.25pm, Wednesday, May 27.
This means it's the third consecutive session to be red flagged, on just the third day of this year's TT festival.
