The Island's End2End Mountain Bike Challenge has come to an end, after more than two decades.
Organisers took to facebook to explain 'no committee willing to take on the challenge.'
The race - which covers 45 miles from the Point of Ayre to Port Erin has therefore, been scrapped.
It follows the cancellation of this year's event, which was due to take place in September, as a number of people had resigned from the committee.
The End2End Mountain Bike Challenge Facebook page will shut down on January 1.
