You'll no longer be able to spend old UK pound coins from this week.
From Wednesday the old quids will no longer be accepted.
Despite an announcement from the Treasury last year saying the Island would keep the currency after the UK did away with them, they'll now be taken out of circulation forever.
As of Wedneday only the new-style 12-sided coins, as well as Manx round coins, will be accepted.
A reminder that United Kingdom round pound coins will no longer be accepted as a form of payment for services and retail purchases in Isle of Man shops after Wednesday 28 February 2018 https://t.co/sD4V53THxQ pic.twitter.com/DyFRBby8TU
