The Minister for Education, Sport and Culture Julie Edge has shed light on how a head teacher can run multiple schools whilst maintaining standards.
She was asked in the House of Keys yesterday of the impact that this model can have on the individual schools.
The Minister described how effectively the head's role shifts into that of a strategic lead and the respective deputy heads have their role expanded accordingly.
She said she's confident it's an effective model, and isn't as a result of reduced budgets:
