Today's afternoon sailing from Heysham to the Island will set off at an earlier time.
The Ben-my-Chree crossing previously scheduled for 2.15pm will now leave at 1.45pm.
The Steam Packet Company confirmed yesterday this is due to tidal restrictions at the Lancashire port.
Passengers are being reminded to check in no later than 1.15pm.
