DTL Minister Hopefull Bowl Stadium Will be Redeveloped in Time for Games
After much delay and high powered debate it’s now looking like the Bowl stadium will be getting redeveloped in time for the Commonwealth Youth Games next year.
It looked like the much-needed overhaul would never happen as the Douglas Council had reached a deadlock with the Government over the issue of including a Council Car Park in the deal.
Work is currently being done to attract more countries to the event, the redeveloped Bowl Stadium will strengthen the Island’s chances of encouraging as many competitors as possible.
DTL Minister Martyn Quayle says he hopes work will begin later this year.
