Drug Trafficking Unit Carry Out Significant Bust
The Drug Trafficking Unit made a significant series of arrests on Sunday in connection with serious drug related offenses.
During the sting operation approximately £8,400 worth of heroin was seized, as well as a small amount of cocaine.
3 people were arrested in connection with the bust, they are currently in custody assisting the police inquiries.
A spokesman for the drug trafficking unit stated that it was a significant seizure of the class A drug and reflects the good work being done to protect the Islands community.
