Those interested in helping their community as a Special Constable can find out more about the role tonight.
The first of two informal drop-in sessions will be held at the TT Grandstand this evening to tell people about what the position would involve after the constabulary began its recruitment for the roles earlier this month.
The session will begin at 6.30pm and is free to attend without the need to book in advance with another also planned at the same venue at the same time on Monday, November 2.
Meanwhile, applications for Special Constables are being taken on the Isle of Man Constabulary website until 4pm on November 6.
Successful candidates after that will then be required to undergo a fitness test, assessment session and medical assessment.
The authorities say those who do join would be asked to offer at least ten hours of their time each month, adding it can make a real difference to local communities.
