A motorist has been fined after being spotted using his mobile phone while driving.
John Barlow of Castle Mona Avenue in Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Officers saw the 46 year old on his phone as he drove along Governor's Road in Onchan on January 9 - he was later found to have no insurance.
Barlow was fined a total of £900 and ordered to pay £50 costs as well as having five points put on his licence.
