The Isle of Man has won awards at this year Britain in Bloom.
Douglas was handed the Silver Gilt award.
The awards ceremony, attended by hundreds of community and gardening champions, was held last night in Birmingham.
The Young People’s Award was also presented to Douglas. Judges picked it as the winner for its youth projects including a free-running area.
Douglas councillor David Christian was at the awards last night. He told 3FM that the crowd of hundreds were showing full support of the Isle of Man including the youngsters.
A team of judges came for a tour of the Islands capital in August, over a thousand communities across the UK took part this year.
