Douglas Council says its rates collection this year is well behind target.
At a meeting tomorrow, councillors will discuss a report to the Executive Committee about its collection figures.
In the first five months of the financial year, the local authority says it received 72.7 per cent - far below its target figure of 84.5 percent.
The council says it reflects more residents paying monthly rather than paying in full by the discount date.
