In a statement issued this morning, the DOI says Auldyn Construction has moved the completion date to the end of September.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker says he's 'extremely disappointed at the setback'.
He claims there have been 'a number of unforeseen challenges' - including difficulty in accessing labour resources from off-Island due to Covid restrictions.
Now, the DOI says to help speed things up - it's taking up parts of the project and will deliver these with 'other resources'.
