A Douglas man alleged to have carried out a serious assault has been committed to a higher court for trial.
Anthony Kevin Wiseman of the Cronk Grianagh Estate appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 19 year old denies assault occasioning grievous bodily harm on December 2 last year on Johnny Wattersons Lane in Douglas.
Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500 on condition he lives at his home address, doesn’t contact witnesses or his alleged victim, doesn’t enter the Cat With No Tail pub and doesn’t leave the Island without permission.
He was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery where he’ll appear again on a date to be fixed.
