A man accused of having up to £900 worth of heroin and more than £900 cash will be committed for trial to the Court of General Gaol Delivery in October.
John Alan Johnson of Empire Terrace appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies possessing heroin with intent to supply it, possessing cannabis and possessing criminal property on July 29.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing police raided Mr Johnson's home and found 3.6 grammes of heroin along with a small amount of cannabis and £920 in cash.
He later told police the drugs were for his own use and the money was his partner's deposit for a flat.
There was no application for bail and the 41 year old was remanded in custody until he appears again on September 17.
