Douglas Borough Council remains committed to maintaining cleanliness of the streets in the East of the Island.
Those were the words of the council who have added two additional road sweepers to their street cleaning fleet.
Environmental Services Committee Chairman, Ritchie McNicholl, says they are working towards maintaining the positive image of the Island.
He added that they are looking to ensure that Douglas is seen as a desirable place to live and work.
