A beach clean taking place in Douglas this weekend will have a slightly different focus this time around.
The FIM Capital Beach Buddies event on Douglas beach on Sunday will focus on clearing the area of microplastics.
The charity's founder, Bill Dale, says whilst the stretch appears to be clean, thousands of microplastics have been found there in recent events.
Beach Buddies is inviting people of all ages to take part tomorrow - meeting at the slipway at the bottom of Broadway at 10.30am.
