Douglas Council has issued another warning about putting knives in recycling boxes, after the latest in a string of incidents.
The local authority took to Facebook after the long serrated blade was found by its workers yesterday.
In its post, it says putting sharp blades in recycling can put staff at risk of injury as they collect the boxes and drop them off at the depot.
The council says you should take knives to the Civic Amenity Site, where they can be disposed of safely.
