A man from St Johns will appear in court today charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
30-year-old Donovan Kitching will appear in front of the Deputy High Bailiff on seven charges.
Among the offences he’s accused of are driving whilst disqualified, escaping lawful custody, having no insurance and failing to stop after an accident.
They all relate to the death of 62-year-old Gwen Valentine from Winchester who was killed after a crash on the Tholt-y-Will road on Saturday, April 26th.
Kitching has been remanded in custody since his last court appearance eight days ago.
