A 'suitably qualified engineer' is being sought to look at restoring Tramway Terrace.
That's according to an update from Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall.
He says the engineer would look at how a restoration could be done while still following safety restrictions that are in place.
The DOI is remaining in contact with and updating the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture after it commissioned a report which deemed the buildings salvageable.
