The Department of Infrastructure says it's now removed some temporary speed limits which had caused comment on social media.
40 and 50mph limits had been put in place on the TT Course between Keppel Gate and Hillberry while work was carried out to improve the route.
When the limits were introduced, a number of people on Twitter and Facebook commented on the new signs.
However, the department says it's now finished the work and removed the temporary zones.
