Douglas Council says it's planning to relax its by-laws to allow dogs onto the capital's beach all year round.
The issue is due to be discussed during the local authority's August meeting next week.
Council Leader Devon Watson says Falcon Glen would also become a dog-friendly park under the proposals.
Currently, dogs in the capital face restrictions in areas of the beach between May and September.
