A local doctor has declared his intention to stand for election in Ramsey saying we need to maintain "a really inclusive society on the Island".
GP Alex Allinson has declared for the town ahead of September's General Election - he's served as a commissioner there for eight years.
He says the Island has to start investing more in community services saying Tynwald needs to reflect the whole population and "include people from different backgrounds with different life experiences".
