Department of Education Spearheads Energy Saving Scheme
A joint money and energy saving initiative has been launched by the Department of Education in an effort to bring down their yearly energy bills and pour some money back into the Government.
Following tests it was shown that each school on the Island loses a considerable amount of energy a year, in some cases amounting to nearly £10,000 worth.
Education Minister Anne Craine said it's a very important scheme for the Island as a whole.
