'Delays likely' during Governors Hill work

Motorists around Governors Hill are being told to expect delays as roadworks in the area begin.

Resurfacing on Hailwood Avenue started yesterday and will be done in stages down the stretch over a three to four week period.

The Department of Infrastructure has put traffic lights in place and is asking anyone who doesn't need to access the estate to use alternative routes.

Meanwhile, Bus Vannin has also confirmed it will be diverting some of its services via Signpost Corner during this time.
