Narratives and memories shared by people connected to the Summerland Fire are now available to listen to.
‘Summerland Remembered’ - a project undertaken by Culture Vannin - has collected more than 12 hours’ worth of spoken memories.
The project is part of the lead-up to the 50th anniversary of the tragedy in which 50 people died in the Douglas entertainment venue on 2 August 1973.
The interviews include stories from with survivors, those bereaved, fire fighters, nurses, police officers, visitors, witnesses, entertainers, employees and more.
They're now available to listen to on the Culture Vannin website, which can be found here.
