Summer may not be quite over yet - but Douglas Council is already preparing for Christmas!
The local authority took to Facebook to announce this year's lights switch-on will take place on a Saturday instead of the traditional Thursday.
The event will feature a full day of festive entertainment on Saturday, November 21.
The council says late-night shopping evenings will still be on Thursdays, however.
