TT Ace Makes Daily Use of Facility, and Credits it With Helping Along his Speedy Recovery
Chief Hyperbaracist at the Hyperbaric Chamber Dave Downie has told 3FM that the future of the chamber is still potentially in doubt.
He said although things are greatly improved from 18 months ago when they ran out of funding they are still heavily dependant on the generosity of donations.
One person who has felt the major benefits of the chamber over the past few months is Connor Cummins who has been steadily recovering since his serious crash in this years TT.
Conor spent over 60 days in Hospital and since being discharged he has visited the chamber every day, saying it's helped greatly with reducing swelling and repairing tissue damage.
He said it would be a catastrophe if the facility was ever to close.
