The Communications Commission says new legislation it’s introducing will help to make the telecommunications market fairer.
It’s published the results of two studies carried out into the wholesale and retail fixed telecoms markets.
A consultation on the matter was first published in June last year and now the new documents set out the designations placed on the licensees and the responsibilities of the provider.
The new rules will come into effect early next month.
