Coastguards were called yesterday after a dog fell down a sheer cliff in the north of the Island.
The incident happened shortly before 5pm when the dog slipped its lead at the Dhoon and fell 120 feet down the cliffside.
Coastguard officers reached the isolated area, climbed down and rescued the pet.
The dog was checked by a vet and found to be none the worse for its ordeal.
