Civil Defence Team to be Pushed to Their Limits During Intense Training
The Isle of Man's Civil Defence team will be pushed to the limits this weekend as they're taken on an intense training programme which will last the duration of the weekend.
The Civil Defence team on the Island consist of volunteers who are always on standby to aid members of the public in the event of adverse weather or other situations where they could find themselves in peril.
They'll be taken into the hills and forced to live off the land until the programme finishes on Sunday.
UK company Sneaky Beaky will be carrying out the training, they aim to push the trainees to their absolute limits using their combined knowledge gathered from their time in the forces.
We spoke to Sneaky Beaky Managing Director Tony Cumper to find out what he has in store for the team:
