The Chief Minister says it’s vitally important that Noble’s Hospital is keeping track of its costs.
The Department of Health has come under fire for not providing the costs of individual procedures such as the cost of different types of surgery.
There have been calls for a better system of benchmarking to be introduced to ensure the £170 million budget is being spent properly.
The department says its IT system is partly to blame for not being able to gather the information.
