The Islands Chief Constable has emphasised the serious consequences of encroaching on the TT circuit.
Gary Roberts took to social media yesterday after a man from Yorkshire was jailed for four weeks for going onto the course.
He says that motorcycle racing is 'spectacularly entertaining but also spectacularly dangerous'.
The incident on Monday night practice saw the session delayed by around 20 minutes.
Motorcycle racing is both spectacular and spectacularly dangerous. This explains why the man arrested yesterday for going onto the TT course has been sent to prison for four weeks. The message couldn't be clearer. #TT2018
