Chief Constable Gary Roberts has said he is trying to steer the constabulary away from a culture of chasing statistics.
The annual Chief Constable’s report will be laid before Tynwald this month.
It reveals very positive crime reduction numbers, with continued downward trends; this however should not become the main priority, says the Chief Constable.
