Charity says don't force happiness this Christmas

People are being urged to be considerate of those who aren't feeling so Christmas-friendly this year.

That's according to the Wish Upon A Dream charity - which helps to realise the dreams of terminally-ill children.

It states that this time of year can be a difficult for some, and it's a common misconception that everyone should be happy.

Lesley Turnbull is from the charity, she asks people to spare a thought for those who aren't enjoying the festive period:
