Two local charities are joining forces for World Cleanup Day.
Beach Buddies and PlasticBusters are inviting residents and visitors to take part in a 'grand' group cleanup activity this weekend.
The organisations say it's about making a statement against the global littering problem, which continues to 'plague our environment.'
Those wishing to take part are asked to meet at Groves Road in Douglas at 10am on Saturday morning.
