Changes to the parking rules at the airport will be introduced in the coming days.
Plans to scrap the one-hour free parking proved unpopular with the public during a recent consultation.
The Department of Infrastructure decided on a compromise whereby people using Ronaldsway won’t be charged to park for the first half hour.
The disc zone within the short-stay car park will also be reinstated so that people who are meeting passengers or those with mobility problems can park near to the terminal.
