The Royal Navy's new flagship will steam past the Island later on its way to Liverpool.
Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer has arranged for the HMS Prince of Wales to pass us as it heads for Merseyside, where it has the Freedom of the City.
It should be visible from the Island's east coast at around 3pm today.
The 284-metre vessel carries between 700 and 1,600 crew, as well as 36 F-35B planes and four Merlin helicopters.
