The Celtic knot crossing in St John's has been removed.
The decision was made by infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, who asked for the design to be removed, following a review.
It comes following the death of twenty-one-year-old Luke McNicholas when he collided with a vehicle while using the crossing at the Curragh Road.
