Work on improving the retail sector in Castletown will begin imminently.
The Department of Economic Development is funding a consultant to offer support to the area.
It says vibrant town centres are a core element of boosting the economy with the retail sector a major source of employment.
Retail policy has been a contentious issue in Castletown with issues predominantly centered on the Callow’s Yard complex.
Minister John Shimmin says the new consultant should help alleviate this:
Record number of seal pups recorded
Proposed laws could mean free period products
Unemployment fell slightly last month
GP waiting times to be raised in House of Keys tomorrow
Waves higher than predicted on crossing which damaged cars
Spitfire flights to be launched from Ronaldsway
