Care Worker Found Not Guilty After Length and Complex Trial
Following a lengthy and complex trial the case of care home worker Tanya Dobbie, accused gross indecency and assault, came to a close yesterday.
The 12 day trial which involved allegations of indecency and assault in the workplace ended with care worker Tanya Dobbie being found not guilty on all charges.
The charges she faced came from allegations dating back to between 2001 and 2003 made by two females who had been in her care, following the conclusion of the case some of the charges were withdrawn.
It’s been a complex case owing to the historical nature of the allegations, the Public Protection Unit Investigation Team worked closely with Social care throughout with some young persons and carers appearing in the defence.
