Emergency Services were called out last night after a car went off the road at Marine Drive.
Fire crews were at the scene for around 11.15pm.
One vehicle was involved, with the person managing to free themselves before authorities arrived.
However, firefighters and the Coastguard worked together to help the person up the cliff-face, in an operation lasting three hours.
