Police are advising the public to avoid Curragh Road this morning due to a crash.
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team say the closure is in place on the A3 Curragh Road between The Hope and Ballacraine, St Johns.
It adds engineering works will be required and the road will be closed for several hours.
A diversion is in place via the Tynwald junction.
