Burial rates in the west of the Island are set for a 42 per cent increase.
When the court sits in April, Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall is to lay an order covering burial rates in Michael.
The order set out the maximum rates for the Churchwardens of Michael and would come into effect the day after it's made.
Currently, it's set at 14 pence in the pound - but that's set to rise to 20p.
