Okell's Inns says it's changing the way some of its pubs are run - with managers earning from profits rather than a salary.
The company, based in Kewaigue, says it'll become an investing partner in some of its pubs, covering stock, assets, and most overheads.
The initiative is part of a restructuring of the company's 29 Island boozers into three categories called Independent, Heritage and Classic.
Heron and Brearley's executive chairman Mark Crowther says the move will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to put their own stamp on the company's pubs.
