Bowlers in Ramsey to benefit from improved facilities

A club in the north of the Island has been given a grant to help it improve its facilities.

The North Ramsey Bowling Club has been given nearly £20,000 to help its Mooragh Park bowling green. 

It's been given the funds from the Manx Lottery Trust to buy new equipment, including a mower and aerator.

Stephen Turner, Chairman of Manx Lottery Trust, said: ‘We’re very happy to support NRBC with funding to purchase these important pieces of equipment, and we hope the facilities will continue to be enjoyed by members and the local community.’
