The Ben-my-Chree had a reliability record of over 94 per cent over the last 14 months.
That's according to the latest figures from the Steam Packet Company, which reveal the vessel covered 83,044 miles during 2019.
Meanwhile, the craft will undergo its annual overhaul between April 20 and May 6 with the Manannan due to set sail for the first time this year from March 27.
Whilst the Ben gets its check-ups in dry dock, the Manannan will operate return morning sailings to and from Heysham to minimise disruption for passengers.
