Beecroft wants 'actual programme for government'

The leader of the Liberal Vannin Party says she won't hold anyone to a party manifesto if she's elected as Chief Minister.

Kate Beecroft is one of the three MHKs who have put their names forward for the top job - Tynwald will decide today.

The Douglas South MHK says she has a 'change agenda' and her core policies are to grow and strengthen the economy, progress social justice and deliver 'long overdue' governmental reform.

She says she wants to publish an 'actual programme for government' and claims she won't be drawing any ministers or departmental members from the Legislative Council.
