A man from Ramsey who climbed onto a bar and slapped a barmaid on her buttocks has been banned from Island pubs for six months.
22 year old Jordan James Butler of Close ny Mooragh admitted disorderly behaviour on licensed premises when he appeared before magistrates this week.
The court heard he'd been refused service in the Trafalgar Hotel when he climbed over the bar to serve himself - he slapped a barmaid who tried to make him leave on her bottom.
As well as a licensing ban, he was ordered to do 40 hours community service, pay £50 costs and pay another £250 for breaching a binding over order.
