A Ballasalla man caught with drugs twice in two days has been jailed.
23 year old Jason Smithies pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing cannabis and one of posessing cocaine when he appeared at Douglas courthouse.
He'd been arrested by police on September 22 but just a day later while on police bail he was arrested again - officers found he was carrying drugs on both occasions.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes sent him to prison for a total of 16 weeks.
